The fourth grade classes at Arnoldsburg Elementary took a field trip to the Calhoun County Park September 18th, to attend a reenactment of a Civil War battle. While they were there, the students visited various stations such as a hospital tent and weaponry, and saw demonstrations at each one. The soldiers who were camping out were available to answer questions.

The fourth grade students have been studying the Civil War in their Social Studies classes, and this field trip proved to be a great educational opportunity for them.

Upcoming events:

Sept. 24th: Picture Day

Oct. 6th: Open House at 6:00 p.m.

Oct. 16th: Title 1 Parent Workshop at 2:00 p.m.
