HARRISON CHARGED WITH FELONY AND CONTRIBUTING - Calhoun Magistrate Report

(02/01/2001)
Rosedale resident Gregory Harrison, 21, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a sixteen-year-old minor by "enticing, encouraging or soliciting" him to help break and enter two establishments. He is also charged with breaking and entering, a felony.

State Trooper C. J. Ellyson brought the charges on January 26. He said Harrison, with the assistance of the minor, entered Eastern Oil and Prime at Leatherbark, U. S. 33-119 and Twins Drilling on Sand Ridge and took more than $7000 in equipment. A warrant has been issued for Harrison's arrest, according to the Calhoun Magistrate Court.

Paul Arnold, 29, of Chloe has been charged with receiving or transferring stolen property from an incident which happened last year. The magistrate's court issued a warrant on January 24 after an investigation by Sgt. John Bonazzo. The charge says Arnold did feloniously receive from another person a Sony Playstation which belonged to Stephanie Nicholas.

Five charges have been lodged against Randall A. Whiting, including DUI-second offense, no proof of insurance, no MVI and a prescription drug charge. The charges were brought by the State Police on January 27, all pending.

The following is a citation issued through magistrate's court:

Ralph Paul Dix, dozer on roadway 1/24/01 by Calhoun Sheriff. He paid fine and costs.
