Loraine L. Richards Pursley, 71, of Big Bend, West Virginia, died Thursday, September 17, 2009. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Mack and Gearl Dine Taylor Richards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie Cecil Pursley; 2 brothers; 5 sisters; and 8 half brothers and sisters. Surviving are three sons, Michael Pursley and David (Judy) Pursley all of South Carolina, and Donald (Jeana) Pursley of West Virginia; one daughter, Malinda (Allen) Lamb of Virginia; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 20 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Interment will be in the Hunt Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
