ANONYMOUS 911 CALL GETS WALTON MAN IN TROUBLE OVER EXPLOSIVES

(09/14/2009)
A 911 anonymous call in Roane County Sunday has landed a Walton man in hot water.

State Police got a search warrant for a house on Lynch Ridge after the anonymous caller said Curtis Abe Little shot and killed three people.

There was no truth to that report.

Exercising the search warrant, officers found a gun, grenades and explosives.

Little was arrested and charged with illegal possession.

Little's ex-wife Deborah Hayes told WSAZ-TV that "he's not a bad man."

"He's made a mistake, and now he's made a big mistake. One he may spend about five years in prison for," said Hayes.

Police shut down a section of Lynch Ridge while the explosives were detonated.
