Mary Louise Laxton, 58 - Evans

Mary Louise Laxton, 58, of Evans, West Virginia, died Monday, September 7, 2009, in the CAMC-Teays Valley Hospital, Teays Valley, after an extended illness. She was born Monday, December 4, 1950, at Johnstown, PA, a daughter of the late Kenneth Chester and Mary Pansy Lavely Wilt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Ann Laxton. Mrs. Laxton was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Danny E. Laxton of Evans; two daughters, Jennifer Rogers and Jessica Laxton both of Evans; one son, Steven McGinnis of Amma; one stepson, Danny E. Laxton, Jr. of Jefferson, OH; five grandchildren and one step grandchild. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the Dundon Cemetery, Dundon, with the Rev. David James officiating. There will be no visitation. John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
