William "Jack" Bonnett, 69 - Troy

William Jack Bonnett age 69, of the Troy-Cox's Mills area departed this life at 8:59 p.m. Thursday September 3, 2009 at the Ruby Memorial hospital Morgantown, following an extended illness.

Born December 29, 1939 in Gilmer County he was the son of the late Howard and Madeline Radcliff Bonnett.

Jack was a graduate of Troy High School, an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending a lot of his time outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids and great grandchildren.

He was united in marriage to Pamela "Pam" Wilson Bonnett, September 9, 1984 who survives at there home near Troy; also surviving are 2 sons and 3 daughters, David (Donna) Bonnett of Alum Bridge, Debbie (Tom) Haddox of Wirt Co., Danny (Heather) Bonnett of Cox's Mill, Michelle Bonnett of Nashville TN, and Crystal Bonnett of Charlotte NC; 4 grandchildren, Bill (McKenzie) Bonnett of Rock Cave, Christopher (Gerlie) Jenkins of Nashville TN, Jessica Bonnett of Cox's Mills, and Zeke Bonnett also of Cox's Mills; 3 great grandchildren, McKinley and Remington Bonnett of Rock Cave and Odin Jenkins of Nashville TN; 3 brothers and 3 sisters also survive, Danny (Ann) Bonnett of Linn, Ronnie (Billie) Bonnett of Elkins, Terry (Janet) Bonnett of Cox's Mills, Patty (Ray) Burkhammer of Linn, Betty Luzier of Davis, and Connie (Dan) Clark of Troy.

In addition to his parents Jack was preceded in death by 1 brother, Bob Bonnett.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday September 8, 2009 at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. Glenville with Rev. Alan Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Troy I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday evening at the mortuary.
