Minnie Hamilton Health System will host a Community Wellness Program beginning Monday, September 14.

This is a free program geared around developing healthy lifestyle habits. The meeting will be held every Monday evening from 6 to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at MHHS. Participants wishing to weigh-in can begin arriving at 5:30 p.m.

In the past, the program has been focused on weight-loss methods only. Though maintaining a healthy weight will play an important role, this year the focus will be on making good decisions and being educated on preventive measures. Weekly weigh-ins and weight-loss information will continue. The overall goal is to develop a group that can support one another and be active in the meetings.
