| Joretta Mae Foster, 77, of Vienna went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born July 11, 1932, in Spencer, W.Va., a daughter of the late Sylvester and Lizzie Mae Langford Starcher.
Joretta retired from Nashua Photo and was a member of the River Valley Community Church of the Nazarene in Vienna.
She is survived by one daughter, Charlotte A. Marshall (Roger) of Vienna; two sons, Rex A. Foster (Kathy) and James W. Foster (Lisa), all of Vienna; six grandchildren, Crystal Marshall, Eric (Melissa) Marshall and Hillary, Kyle, Joshua and Alexis Foster; two stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James V. Foster; six brothers; and six sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of Vienna with the Rev. John Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Starcher Family Cemetery in Calhoun County, W.Va. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
