Technical education is an exciting option for many adults. It gives one an opportunity to develop and strengthen their academic, critical thinking and decision making skills through application of learned skills in real "hands-on" workplace activities.

We invite you to see, hear, and experience first hand why Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center has earned the reputation as one of the finest technical education centers in West Virginia.

Adult applications are being accepted on a first come-first served basis for the following 2009-2010 Career Center Training Programs:

Criminal Justice Technology; ProStart Food Management/Culinary Arts (National Restaurant Association Curriculum); Business Education Technology; Automotive Service Technology; Environmental Technology; Building Construction Technology; Computer Networking Technology; Welding Technology; Health Occupations Science Technology(Therapeutic Services (CNA) a.m. program only; or Diagnostic Services (Medical Aid) a.m. program only.

Tuition waivers are available to those that qualify. Referrals by area service agencies are welcomed.
