UPDATE: ATV RIDER INJURED ON LEADING CREEK

A 21-year-old male identified as Chadwick Lee Sochall of Kenna, the driver of an ATV, reportedly received head injuries when he was thrown from his four-wheeler on Leading Creek Rd., about two miles from State Rt. 16.

He was riding in an ATV poker run benefit.

The victim was flown to a regional hospital by Air-Evac from Wood County from a landing zone at Pleasant Hill Elementary School.

The accident happened about 12:25 today, the victim reportedly thrown from his ATV after making a sudden stop to keep from hitting another ATV in front of him.

Calhoun EMS and the Grantsville VFD responded to the scene.
