MHHS WELCOMES NEW PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Minnie Hamilton Health System is pleased to welcome Physician Assistant Janie Knotts to their staff. Ms. Knotts obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Marshall University and then completed her Masters of Science, Physician Assistant Studies degree from Marietta College.

While receiving her training, Ms. Knotts completed clinical experience at several local health centers including Ritchie Primary Care, St. Joseph's Hospital, Cornerstone Health Care, First Settlement Orthopedics, Dr. Peter Filozof, Parkersburg Cardiology Associates and others. She has received certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support.

Ms. Knotts has received numerous academic honors including Pi Alpha Physician Assistant Honorary Society, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marshall University, Golden Key Honor Society, National Scholars Honor Society and others.
