Patricia Ann "Patty" Starcher - Rittman, Ohio

Patricia Ann "Patty" Starcher, 67, passed away peacefully at home Friday, August 7, 2009 after a long battle with cancer.

She was born January 22, 1942 in Calhoun County, West Virginia, the only child of the late Othel Hugh and Eleanor Whytsell Starcher.

A graduate of Barberton High School, she was a resident of Barberton-Rittman. Patty retired from PPG Industries with 42 years service, was a member of Barberton Seventh Day Adventist Church and an active supporter of Barberton Seventh Day Adventist Community Service Center.

In addition to her parents left to celebrate her life and mourn her passing are numerous cousins and many beloved friends.

Sincere thanks to the wonderful medical staff and to all of Patty's special caregivers. Your love and support will never be forgotten.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 13 at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Avenue, Barberton 44203, with Pastor Chester Hitchcock officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Calling hours Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Barberton Seventh Day Adventist Community Service Center, 223 Second Street, N.W., Barberton, Ohio 44203.
