A son of the late Howard H. and Naomi Caldwell Stutler, he was a pipeliner and in oil friend drilling. He attended area churches and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include one brother, Hayward Stutler of Bedford, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Stacey, Jack, Gary and Morris Stutler.

Services were 2 p.m. Sunday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home of Spencer. Burial was in Clover Cemetery.
