CRESTON MAN WILL MAKE PLEA ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

(08/07/2009)
A Creston man who resides on Little Creek will appear before Judge David Nibert Monday with a plea request related to drug charges brought by the WV State Police in Elizabeth.

Randy Dwayne Schrader, 33, was charged in October, 2008 with manufacturing marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

Schrader is represented by attorney Michael Simms of Morgantown.

Schrader, according to court records, was stopped by the State Police in Elizabeth, who discovered marijuana in his vehicle.

Later, a search warrant was obtained for his Little Creek, Calhoun residence, after which authorities say they discovered "marijuana compressed in ammunition containers."

Court records indicate Schrader admitted to growing the marijuana.
