Alice Nelle Brannon, 76 - Reedy

Alice Nelle Brannon, 76, of Reedy, West Virginia, died Monday, August 3, 2009, in the Miletree Center, Spencer. She was born Wednesday, September 21, 1932, at Palestine, a daughter of the late Ernest W. and Nelle Davis McCutcheon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Glenn Brannon in 2008; sister, Anne Cline; and an infant brother. Mrs. Brannon was a retired employee of Roane General Hospital, Spencer and a former employee of B.F. Goodrich, Grantsville. She was a member of the Mt. William Baptist Church, Palestine. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Brenda Brannon of Palestine; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Bro. Bill Walton officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. William Cemetery, Palestine. Friends may call Wednesday, August 5 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
