| Arthur P. Goodnight, 80, of Ravenna, Ohio, died August 3, 2009 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.
He was born February 14, 1929 in Big Bend, West Virginia to the late Lawrence Hale and Dessie (Richards) Goodnight.
Arthur lived in Ravenna since 1947, retired from Romito Donnelly Corporation and in his younger days enjoyed hunting.
Survivors include his son Terry (Jeanette) Goodnight of Flower Mound, Texas; daughters Ann Marie and Debbie Goodnight both of Ravenna; grandchildren Nicholas, Joshua, Tristin Goodnight and sister Mavarine Butler of Bowie, Maryland.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita in 1987, brothers, Ronzel and Delmas Goodnight and sisters, Freeda Bush and Delores Dye.
Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 6 and from 12-noon until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, August 7 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes, Ravenna Chapel. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
