CABIN CREEK STABBING - Kanawha deputies are investigating a stabbing that occurred in Miami on Cabin Creek.

Several witnesses as well as the victim, 36-year-old Charles Holbrook, talked with the officers. The problem was reportedly related to drinking.

Witnesses said the victim and another male got into an argument Tuesday on the railroad tracks and the argument turned violent.

Holbrook was stabbed in the arm and once in the leg, and was taken to a Charleston hospital.

BUCK KNIFE STABBING OF TWO - Weirton police have made an arrest in a stabbing incident. Robert Oliver, 28, has been charged in the Saturday incident.

Oliver allegedly stabbed both John Yelich, 33, and Chad Yelich, 30, reportedly with a Buck knife.

Oliver was charged with two counts of malicious wounding, and bond was set out of Hancock County Magistrate Court at $50,000.

TWO SHOT IN OAK HILL - Fayette County police officers are working to find a suspect after two men were shot Sunday in Oak Hill.

One victim was airlifted to Charleston Area Medical Center via HealthNet, and another was taken to Plateau Medical Center.

HOLD-UPS IN PRINCETON-BLUEFIELD - Police have made one arrest in connection with a series of weekend armed robberies in Bluefield and Princeton.

Both the McDonald's on Oakvale Road in Princeton, and Little Caeser's Pizza in Bluefield, were robbed at gunpoint.

A firearm was discharged inside of Little Caeser's Sunday, but no one was struck.

The robbers forced all of the employees and customers into a break room area of the restaurant.

The Bluefield, Va. Police Department executed a search warrant Monday morning, and arrested an individual in connection with the incident.

In Princeton, a male subject armed with a gun confronted a store manager who was carrying a night deposit box.

Chris Witchley, 23, of Bluefield, Va., has been arrested on an armed robbery charge.

The suspect grabbed the manager, put a gun in his face and pushed him against a glass window.

The suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot with the money bag, but was chased by another McDonald's employee.

The suspect then turned around, and threatened to shoot the second McDonald's employee who was chasing him.

CLARKSBURG WOMAN STABS MAN - A Clarksburg woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a man over the weekend.

35-year-old Jody Lynn Forrester is charged with unlawful wounding.

The victim suffered a severe laceration to his arm and was rushed to the hospital.
