SIMONTON WINDOWS RECALLING 263

Simonton Windows is recalling 263 workers in West Virginia who have been laid off since late 2008. The window and patio door manufacturer also announced yesterday they are looking to hire an additional 55 employees. President Mark Savan says a federal tax credit incentive has boosted summer sales. U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller said the move proves the tax credit is doing what it was designed to do - improving home efficiency and providing jobs.
