| Emma G. Wease, 78, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away Monday, July 27, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
Born in Calhoun County October 13, she was a daughter of the late Cleo and Phlema Hathaway Gainer. She was a former school teacher at Wells Junior High School in Hancock County and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband Rev. Donzel Wease and 2 daughters, Phelma Jane Wease of Grantsville and Ruth L. Cook of Oceana; 3 sons, Dennis Cleo Wease of Grantsville, Donzel G. Wease of Jane Lew, and Dana Alan Wease of Five Forks; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Donald Stilgenbauer will officiate. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday. |
