WV HAS AGREEMENTS WITH 18 STATES TO CARRY CONCEALED WEAPONS

The failure of a proposed national law requiring all states to recognize concealed-weapons permits does not affect agreements West Virginia has made with other states regarding hidden guns. West Virginia has reciprocity agreements with 18 states. Those states recognize West Virginia concealed-weapons permits and West Virginia recognizes their permits. A U.S. Senate vote to require all states to recognize concealed-weapons permits issued by other states failed last week by two votes.
