Kenneth Wayne Taylor, 48 - Walton

Kenneth Wayne Taylor, 48, of Walton, West Virginia, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, at home.

He attended Walton High School and was employed by Cooperative Construction of Dunbar. Wayne was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved the outdoors of Roane County. He enjoyed reading the Bible and always had a smile for everyone.

He was the son of the late Dewey K. Taylor. Survivors include his mother, O. Wanda Taylor of Walton; a daughter, Rebecca J. Taylor of Cross Lanes; a son, Lucas W. Taylor of Calhoun County; two grandchildren, Lily and Wyatt; a soon expected granddaughter; two brothers, Tony and Matthew Taylor both of Walton; three sisters, Diane McCune of Spencer, Cathy Allen of Walton and Betty Taylor of Charleston; several nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends.

A service will be held Monday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Wayne Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Walton. Friends may call at the funeral home.
