ARNOLD'S PROPERTY TURNED OVER TO MORTGAGE COMPANY - Kathy Arnold Remains Hospitalized

(02/07/2002)
Judge Tom Evans turned over the 205-acre Eric and Kathy Arnold farm to a mortgage company that purchased their Spring Creek property at an auction about three years ago. Eric Arnold was found guilty of 12 counts of animal cruelty by a Roane County court several days ago.

Arnold's attorney John Oshoway asked that Arnold's conviction be set aside, but Judge Evans declined.

Former Spencer Attorney Kathy Arnold is facing the same charges, but she reportedly remains in a hospital for the treatment of her mental, emotional and physical problems. She is represented by Spencer attorney Drew Patton.

Judge Evans ordered Arnold off the property.
