B&E AT FLANAGAN MURDER HOUSE

Unconfirmed reports say that an unknown person or persons broke and entered a Sycamore Creek house where Mike and Julie Flanagan were murdered. Neighbors say they discovered the door to the house "wide open," the culprits used a pry bar to break into the vacant house. It was not learned if anything was taken. The Flanagan family boarded the windows and secured the house following the murders. A nearby hunting cabin belonging to an Ohio man was also entered. The cabin, according to neighbors, had been frequented by accused murderer "Bucky" Miller. Cpl. Doug Starcher reportedly investigated the incident. The Grantsville Detachment of the WV State Police does not release public information regarding incidents or crimes in the county.
