STEVENS HOUSE DESTROYED IN FIRE - Donations Are Being Accepted

The Norman Ridge home of Eugene Stevens (left) was destroyed in a fire last Wednesday. Stevens is staying in a small trailer on his property, and is currently working to get water and electric hooked up. "He has little room for household items, but monetary donations would be much appreciated," said his neighbor Esther Wilson. Stevens is a regular entertainer at monthly sings in Grantsville, sponsored by the WV Bluegrass Alliance. Monetary donations were accepted on his behalf last Saturday.
