Hugh G. Wilson, 92, of Grantsville, died February 25, 2002 at Sunbridge Center in Glenville, WV.

He was the son of the late George S. and Bessie Stump Wilson. He was a member of the Rush Run Baptist Church, a member of Grantsville IOOF lodge, he attended the Pleasant Hill UM Church and was a retired employee of the old Hope Gas Company.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Juanita Lymer Wilson, sons, Charles R. Wilson and his wife, Anna Lou of Parkersburg, WV, William S. Wilson and his finance, Charlotte French of Mineral Wells, WV and David Wilson of Grantsville; two daughters, Connie Bailey and her husband, Gary of Parkersburg and Carole Weekley and her husband Carroll of Parkersburg; one brother, Rolley J. Wilson of Parkersburg; sisters, Bessie Ledsome of Reedy, WV, Eda Stalnaker of Winston, NC, Donna Waldeck of Parkersburg, Osa Fowler and Mary Starkey both of Grantsville; eleven grand children and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home of Grantsville. Interment will be in the Sand Ridge Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
