Yvonne Marie Honaker, 70 - Arnoldsburg

Yvonne Marie Honaker, 70, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia died July 9, 2009 at Charleston Area Medical Center's Memorial Division.

She was born April 29, 1939 in Roane County, WV a daughter of the late Ernest Paul and Winnie Sapp Whytsell.

She was retired as an assistant manager from the Family Dollar store in Spencer, and formerly worked at Kellwood Company, Minnora Grade School as an aide, and as a clerk at the Ben Franklin Store. She attended Walnut Grove Church.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Ann and David Self of Arnoldsburg and one son, Rufus Honaker, Jr. all of Arnoldsburg; a brother, Paul Whytsell, Jr., of Pleasant Hill; six grandchildren, Kimberly Self, Kayla Morford and her husband Lucas, Courtney Honaker, Dylan Honaker, Charity Spencer and Adam Stump; three great grandchildren, Brady Norman, Jacob Spencer and Morgan Spencer.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Honaker, Sr. and a granddaughter, Cindy Self.

Per her request, the body was cremated. Burial of the ashes will take place at a later date in the Husk Cemetery, Arnoldsburg at the convenience of the family.

Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, West Virginia is in charge of arrangements for the Honaker family. There will be no service or visitation at the funeral home.
