CALHOUN COURTHOUSE GROUNDS WILL BE ILLUMINATED

The Calhoun Commission has been awarded a $17,140 grant for outside lighting at the county courthouse. The grant has been issued by the agency that improves courthouse security. The grant calls for lighting on poles and the building to provide 360 degree illumination around the structure. The commission has received previous grants to improve security, including the installation of cameras and recording devices in the building. Also an improvement regarding record-keeping access to the building during off hours.
