RT. 16 N. RESURFACING PROJECT STARTED

The West Virginia Division of Highways announces that a planned resurfacing project on WV 16 N. began on Tuesday, according to Michael Foley, acting Construction Engineer.

The project begins at the junction of WV 5 and ends at the junction of Calhoun County Route 16/5, Town Hill Road.

Crews from Kelly Paving will be working between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Motorists are expected to follow the direction of all work zone signs and pilot truck which will be present.

Delays may be substantial.

Motorists are encouraged to allow additional time for their commute or use alternate routes if possible.

This project includes drainage, milling, resurfacing, shoulder paving, and guardrail.

The anticipated completion date is October 30, 2009.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
