Fire completely destroyed the Eugene Stevens residence on Norman Ridge early today.

The double-wide modular with surrounding porch was on the ground when Grantsville firemen arrived, the fire likely had a head-start before it was reported at 3:42 a.m.

Stevens was reportedly out-of-state visiting relatives.
