TODDLER SHOOTS SELF - Charleston police have charged 24-year-old Hannah Workman with gross neglect after her four-year-old son shot himself in the leg, Friday.

The gunshot wound was not life-threatening, but the little boy did have to undergo surgery in a Charleston hospital.

The criminal complaint says it was Workman's other son, a 2-year-old, who found the gun and gave it to his 4-year-old brother.

Workman said, "There was a gun underneath my couch. My boyfriend put it there. My son got a hold of it. I put it on the cabinet. It was not my fault."

Police are now searching for Workman's 16-year-old boyfriend who may have been at the house. He could be facing charges.

Authorities believe Ramsey beat Vanfosson with the gun after he collapsed.

Ramsey surrendered to police.

He's charged with first-degree murder.
