IT'S OFFICIAL: MUSTANG COMING TO SPENCER

(06/25/2009)
Following hundreds of job appliants at a job fair in Spencer, many from Calhoun, Mustang Survival will be opening a second plant site in the old BF Goodrich building.

The announcement was made yesterday at Mustang Survival's 10th anniversary celebration in Elizabeth.

The company says the new manufacturing facility will start off with 20 employees, but that number is expected to grow to about 100 in just a couple of years.

Four hundred people showed up in Spencer earlier this year applying for the jobs.

The company was also considering Wood County for the project.

Mustang Survival is expecting a lot more work because of the "Made in America" clause in the stimulus package.
