The deceased woman is 35-year-old Katherine Nicole Sharpe.

Few details are available about what exactly happened in the home near Hedgesville.

"We did deploy some gas into the house," State Police Captain R.A. Blair said after confirming the death of the woman and the arrest of the suspect.
