FOUR CONTRACTORS ATTEND $5.2 MIL WATER PROJECT MEETING

A pre-bid meeting for Calhoun's 29-mile $5.2 million water extension project was held last week in Arnoldsburg. Contractors at the pre-bid meeting were, Ronnie Lane, Houchin Construction, Bosley, and Miller. The construction bid will be approved by the Mt. Zion Public Service District board in July. Construction on the project will likely begin this fall. The water line extension covers an area from Russett to Millstone and Rt. 16 south to the Upper West Fork Park. The project will also include the installation of fire hydrants to service those areas.
