JAKE KRACK WINS THIRD TIME AT OLD-TIME FIDDLERS CONTEST

Fiddler Jake Krack continues to win

For the third time, Calhoun's Jake Krack has just won the Old-Time Fiddlers Award in the fiddle contest at the 38th Mt. Airy Fiddlers Convention in Mt. Airy, North Carolina.

Jake, a resident of Orma, also won the fiddlers contest at Mt. Airy in 2002 and 2004.

The award-winning fiddler, who has won high honors many times not only in West Virginia but around the USA, is currently employed by the WV Division of Culture.

Jake has ten different recordings available, his newest is "Jake's Ramble."
