Dinina Sue Mullinex, 56 - Elizabeth

Dinina Sue Mullinex, 56, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, passed away June 8, 2009, at Miletree Center, Roane County, WV, after an extended illness.

She was born November 17, 1952, the daughter of the late Wilda Mullinex.

She was a 1975 graduate of Wirt County High School, was a member of the Wirt County COA and attended Bethel Church of Elizabeth. She donated her time to the Elizabeth Hope Shop, Wirt County Journal and was very active in raising funds for Relay for Life-American Cancer Society. She enjoyed yard sales, Senior Citizens trips and most precious was her trip last fall to Myrtle Beach.

She is survived by one sister, Reva Wayne of Newark, WV; one brother, Arthur Mullinex of Morehead City, N.C.; three nieces; one great niece, Olivia; one great nephew, Hunter; and a special friend, Judy Matheny.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Dock and Stella Mullinex; two brothers, Lloyd and Roger Lee Mullinex; and one sister, Annabelle Mullinex. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth with the Rev. Melvin Boggs officiating. Interment will be at the K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
