Hatzell "Pat" Kendall, 65 - Walker

Hatzell "Pat" Kendall, 65, of Walker, West Virginia passed away June 5, 2009 at his home due to complications with multiple myeloma cancer.

He was born August 8, 1943 in Grantsville to the late Holly and Delphia Kendall. Hatzell retired after 40 years of service truck driving.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gloria; two sons, Frank L.(Renee) Kendall of Williamstown and James P. (Toni) Kendall of Walker; two grandchildren, Colton and Brianna Kendall of Williamstown; one brother, Frank D. (Patty) Kendall of New Martinsville; one sister, Tessa Elliott of Casa Grande, Arizona; and several cousins, nieces and nephews; special nephew Paul Jenkins, and special cousin, Bill Hoover. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Haymond P. Kendall and Virgil A. Kendall; and two sisters, Verl Boone and June Poling.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 11 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. John Vannoy will officiate. Interment will be in the Shock Cemetery on Little Rush Run.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local Relay for Life.
