CALHOUN COUNTY LIBRARY GOES WIRELESS

Calhoun County, West Virginia - Unplug and unwind at Calhoun County Library.

As an extension of library services, the library located at 250 Mill Street, Grantsville, has begun free wireless Internet access for patrons.

Patrons are encouraged to unplug their laptops and bring them to the library checkout desk to receive a user name and password and time allotment to begin using the service.

Seating is abundant with choices of tables,
benches, and cushioned reading chairs.

Wireless services is made available through a grant provided by the Library Services and Technology administered by the institute of Museum and Library Services and the West Virginia Library Commission.

This new services provides users with free, easy, open and friendly wireless service with all library filters intact. However, should a filter interfere with a search, librarians can open the service upon request.

In addition people are encouraged to lounge in the reading area and unwind with magazines, newspapers or books. For more information contact Amy Cooper 304-354-6300.
