Audie Minney, 73, of Dalton, Ohio formerly of Orma, Calhoun County, West Virginia, passed away May 25, 2009 at Shady Lawn Health Care Community, Dalton, Ohio. He was born at Orma, a son of the late Ira and Myrtle Hess Minney. He was a US Army Veteran and was a former employee of Spartan Enterprises of Barberton, Ohio. Surviving are a son, Richard Lee Minney (Linda) of Orrville, Ohio; one sister, Darlie Schoolcraft (Melvin) of Dalton, Ohio; two brothers, C.A. Minney of Spencer, WV, and George Siers of Conneautville, Pennsylvania; 2 grandsons, one granddaughter, and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linney Marie McCune Minney; one daughter, Debra K. Minney Dailey; four half brothers and four half sisters. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. at the Ebenezer Baptist Church at Orma. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Church Cemetery. Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg is in charge of arrangements.
