Hur resident Phyllis Kerby and grandchildren (L-R) Holly,
Tyler and Kevin Rose collect donations for Hur Cemetery

Calhouners by the droves returned to the burial sites of their relatives this past weekend, to remember family members and honor American soldiers.

Phyllis Kerby, who has dutifully taking care of the Hur Cemetery for many years, sat beside the country cemetery for several days to collect funds to keep it mowed.

The cemetery fund needs support, mail to Phyllis Kerby, HC65, Box 130, Mt. Zion WV 26151.

Folks gather at Mt. Zion Cemetery for Memorial Day ...

... while Orma Cemetery is fully decorated
