Eleven Pleasant Hill students eagerly participated in a puppet theater on Saturday, January 26. Under the direction
of Linda Jones, they made their own puppets, learned their lines, and performed Chicken Soup with Rice, based on
the
book by Maurice Sendak - all in three hours.

The students represented the months of the year and performed their play which was video-taped and then critiqued for
improvements before the "BIG" production. Several parents returned to watch the final performance. The puppet theater was
funded through the Lights On Project.
