Harry Drake, minister of Nobe First Baptist, and Bubby Ferguson, a member, shared their experiences with the cleanup after September 11 with fifth and six graders of Calhoun Middle School.

A slide show brought students up close to the work taking place in New York City. These two men were part of a crew of Baptist men and women cleaning apartments of neighboring buildings. Their words, pictures, and display of items, made real the tragedies and effects that day has had on people's lives.

Minister Harry Drake and Bubby Ferguson share WTC experience

Mrs. Jarvis stated, "It is the quietest that our student body has been during a presentation. Students asked inquisitive questions." We thank both of them for sharing with our students. They will present to other groups. Contact Linda Jarvis for information.
