KIDS PLAY WITH GUNS - Police say an 11-year-old Martinsburg girl threatened her 7-year-old sister with a gun to force the younger child to play with her.

Martinsburg police say the girl also pointed the .38-caliber pistol at her grandmother.

The child surrendered the gun after the grandmother made several demands for it.

The weapon wasn't loaded but police believe the girl didn't know that.

Police say the two girls argued and the 11-year-old then retrieved the gun from her grandmother's bedroom.

She is being held at a juvenile detention center on charges of brandishing a weapon and domestic assault.

The names of the girls and the grandmother aren't being released.

OAK HILL YOUTH STABBED TO DEATH - An 18-year-old Oak Hill man was stabbed to death and the suspect turned himself in to police about nine hours later.

Kyle Marshall Adkins, 21, of Oak Hill, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Ronnie Keith Tincher.

The Fayette Sheriff's Department responded to the call, finding Tincher bleeding extensively from multiple stab wounds to his chest, left arm and right leg. He was unconscious when they arrived.

Cpl. T.N. Mooney performed CPR on Tincher until paramedics arrived.

Tincher sustained the fatal injuries during an altercation with Adkins, who fled the scene.

BRIDGEPORT ARMED ROBBERY - The Bridgeport Police are looking for two men who attempted armed robbery.

They say one suspect held a shot gun out a passenger side window and told the victim to give him all his money.

The victim then fled on foot and managed to escape with only minor injuries.

Both men, young white males, were clean shaven and were last scene driving a dark colored older model Chevy Cavalier.

MORGANTOWN KNIFE INCIDENT - Morgantown police say it started when an 18 year-old woman approached two men in a parking lot behind the Flame Steakhouse on High Street.

After talking with them for a while, her boyfriend showed up, and got into a fight with the men.

One of them got out a knife, and stabbed the boyfriend.

The woman also suffered minor injuries in the scuffle.

ROBBIN' BAKERIES - John Morgan is in custody following the robbery at gunpoint of two Parkersburg bakeries within ten minutes of each other Tuesday.

WTAP-TV reported the first occurred at Nickles Bakery Inc. on Division Street. The second occurred at Flowers Baking Company on Blizzard Drive.

Cash was taken from both locations, but was recovered.

Officers say road construction slowed Morgan down, allowing him to be caught.
