COUNTY COMMISSION MEETS MONDAY - School Board Meets Monday

The Calhoun Commission meets Monday at 2 p.m. to discuss job changes, including the approval of a combined E-911/OES Director. The commission will approve the formation of a Local Emergency Services Council. Issues regarding problems obtaining fiduciary commissioners, budget requests, appointments and grants. The Calhoun County Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Mt. Zion. There will be a 2010 budget hearing, update on the Pleasant Hill construction project, an administrative report on student controlled substance abuse, and a report on the flooding at Arnoldsburg School. A number of personnel decisions will be made.
