Fourth grade students at Pleasant Hill School have been studying about American Pioneers. Both classes read the story, "In My Family", and in conjunction with this story, made a quilt. Each student designed a square. Students decided to vote where the quilt would be displayed. By unanimous vote, the quilt will be displayed at The Calhoun County Library. Please stop by to see this beautiful quilt.

Mr. Bugby and Mr. Golinsky took a group of fourth grade students to perform at the 21st Century Learning Conference at Stonewall Jackson Resort. These students deserve to be acknowledged for their accomplishments. They gave up their free time and worked very hard in preparation for the concert. They represented their school and county in a thoughtful and amazing way. These fourth graders received a standing ovation and several requests for copies of a CD of their performance. Mr. Bugby and Mr. Golinsky are very proud of what these students accomplished at the conference.
