NWS ISSUES REGIONAL FLOOD WATCH FOR WEDNESDAY - One To Two Inches Predicted

FOLLOWING MONDAY'S FLOODING

The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Flood Watch for Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night.

In West Virginia... Barbour... Boone... Braxton... Cabell... Calhoun... Clay... Doddridge... Fayette... Gilmer... Harrison... Jackson WV... Kanawha... Lewis... Lincoln... Logan... Mason... McDowell... Mingo... Nicholas... Pleasants... Pocahontas... Putnam... Raleigh... Randolph... Ritchie... Roane... Taylor... Tyler... Upshur... Wayne... Webster... Wirt... Wood and Wyoming.

Steady rain, heavy at times will overspread the watch area during the late morning hours on Wednesday and continue into Wednesday night.

One to two inches of rain can be expected by late Wednesday night.

Central West Virginia is particularly vulnerable due to heavy rainfall received over the past couple of days.

Rain is in the forecast through Saturday.
