LITTLE KANAWHA CRESTING TWO FEET ABOVE FLOOD STAGE AT GRANTSVILLE - Glenville Five Feet Over Flood Stage

9 PM - Calhoun's OES Director Kathy Wood is updating the LK floodstage at Grantsville. It is now about two feet above the flood stage of 36 feet, or 38 feet.

This level causes moderate flooding.

Crest will be reached between midnight and 8 a.m.

Reports indicate Glenville is cresting 5 feet about flood 23 foot flood stage.

5 PM -The flood advisory continues for the Little Kanawha river at Grantsville.

At 5 PM Monday the stage was 34.0 feet.

Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

Forecast, the river will rise to near 35.9 feet around midnight.

At stages near 36.0 feet a few homes, Wayne Underwood Field, fields, the town park along the river could start to flood.

Grantsville's Northside road is flooding.

The river is cresting above flood stage in Glenville.
