ATV FATALITY IDENTIFIED - 24-Yr.-Old Calhoun Woman Dies

A former Big Springs woman was killed early today when she was thrown from a four-wheeler ATV near Stumptown.

Amber Lamp, 24, was reportedly a passenger on an ATV driven by her boyfriend John D. Huffman, Jr., 27, of Stumptown.

Lamp was employed at Family Dollar in Grantsville, and had worked at Gino's Pizza. The accident happened on Middle Run Rd., about one mile off US 33-119 at Stumptown.

Huffman was brought by emergency services from Gilmer County to Minnie Hamilton Health System, and then transfered to a Charleston hospital.

Lamp is the daughter or Loretta Freshour. She has a three-year-old daughter.

The body has been taken to the State Medical Examiner's office in Charleston.

Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville>
