CALHOUN WOMAN DIES IN STUMPTOWN ATV CRASH

A former Big Springs woman was killed early today when she was thrown from a four-wheeler ATV near Stumptown. The 24-year-old woman was reportedly a passenger on an ATV driven by her boyfriend John D. Huffman, Jr., 27, of Stumptown. The accident happened on Middle Run Rd., about one mile off US 33-119 at Stumptown. Huffman was brought by emergency services from Gilmer County to Minnie Hamilton Health System, and then transfered to a Charleston hospital.
