CAROLYN J. BANFIELD (01/29/2001) CAROLYN JANE WOLFE BANFIELD, 58, of Nicut, WV, died January 28, 2001, at her residence. She was born February 11, 1942, in Wood County, a daughter of the late Sammuel Richard and Glenna Gertrude Ward Wolfe. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Arnie and Lisa Banfield of Chloe, WV and Larry and Sasha Banfield of Williamstown, WV; one daughter, Kara Banfield of Kanawha City, WV; four grandchildren, Michelle Lee Banfield of Marlboro, NY, Nicholas Charles DeSanto of Kanawha City, Jessica Nicole Banfield of Williamstown and Kylee Breanne Banfield of Chloe. Also surviving is a brother and sister-in-law, James "Jim" and Ida Mae Wolfe of Williamstown. Mrs. Banfield was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Lee Banfield, Sr. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, WV. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
