MORGANTOWN SHOOTING - State Police in Monongalia County are investigating a shooting.

Police say they responded to a residence and found Nana Sue Ramsey shot in the chest.

She was conscious and alert and was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The victim's ex-husband, Donald Ramsey, was taken into custody and charged with malicious wounding.

WOMAN SHOOTS DOWN DOOR - A Putnam County woman was charged with attempted daytime burglary after allegedly shooting down a neighbor's door on three separate occasions.

Diana Lynn Osborne, 56, has been charged with the felony offense of daytime burglary.

Osborne allegedly shot through the doors of Cinda and Carlton Thornton, her neighbors across the road in Liberty.

Following the first break-in, the couple found money and a gun missing.

After the second break-in, the Thorntons installed a video recorder outside their home.

When the surveillance video was reviewed following the most recent incident, Osborne was allegedly seen wearing gloves and trying to break into the house.

Unable to open the door, she returned later with a handgun and fired at the door.

Osborne's bail has been set at $10,000.

CHARLESTON SHOOTING - A male victim was shot inside the Washington Manor housing complex in Charleston.

A Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatcher said police are searching for the party responsible for the shooting.

Reports said the victim was shot in the head and is in serious condition.
